刘若英自小学三年级开始学钢琴，就读加州州立大学音乐系时因缘际会的认识了**，决定了她往后的路，在音乐的世界中无限的创作。不但是歌手，亦时一名创作人，作曲亦写词。她在电影方面的成绩也是非常的茁跃，曾经以《少女小渔》荣获1995年亚太影展后座。她亦尝试文字创作，2001年出版《一个人的KTV》，2004年又出版了《下楼谈恋爱》。有人说刘若英决不是漂亮的一类，但一定是美丽的，就像一杯温暖的奶茶一样，虽无艳丽的外表，却自有一种温润香浓的芬芳！喜欢欣赏她的人都是被奶茶内在的丰富滋味所吸引，愈品便愈迷恋这种久远的芬芳。
